It is known that guilt and shame can destroy a person’s spirit. They break your faith, make you feel bad, and keep you from God. They tear you apart. They gradually rob God’s children of their joy, peace, trust, and pure conscience. These things are also useful for demons to use against people to torture and bother them mentally. Also, it looks like people who are caught in this trap find it difficult to talk to others about their problems or failures. It’s hard for almost everyone to even accept that they are having trouble in some area.
When someone keeps guilt and shame inside, they have the most power over them. But when someone puts something to the light, it makes things brighter, and things like guilt and shame tend to lose their power over that person. When someone doesn’t talk about their prblems and mistakes, the enemy works hard to stop them. Being embarrassed is just a way for the enemy to keep a person from talking about their problems and wanting to be free from them. The enemy can tempt us, but he can also keep us from admitting our mistakes by making us feel bad about what we’ve done. This is just Satan’s favorite way to keep our minds dark!

Would you make a big deal out of it if you saw another Christian having the same problem you’re experiencing? That is, if they have turned away from it or are really trying to turn away from it? You would appear to be very mean to yourself. Would you behave this way to them too? It’s likely that you wouldn’t think anything of it!.
Many deliverances don’t happen or don’t finish because the person hasn’t discussed everything that needed to come forth. This is why it’s important to talk about these kinds of mistakes and problems during a deliverance session. Forgive yourself for your mistakes, because there may still be spirits that need to be dealt with.
